Tuesday

The JV boys basketball team smoked Orange by a score of 54-36



Wednesday

The Varsity boys basketball team lost 53-51 on a last second shot to undefeated Park View.

  • Ben Ritterband: 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals

  • Thomas White: 13 points, 14 rebounds, 2 blocks

  • Josh Walker: 10 points, 8 rebounds

  • Jacob Messinger: 7 points, 3 rebounds

The JV boys basketball team continued their strong season by destroying Park View 65-11



Friday

The Varsity girls basketball team collected a great win against rival Albemarle, 48-45


The Girls Swim and Dive team won their meet against Charlottesville and Fluvanna.

  • Allisan Bendall, Mariam Mithqal, Josefine van Beek, and Eloise Weary led the way for the girls team

  • Bendall finished 1st in the 200 IM (2:18.03) and 1st in the 100 Breaststroke (1:08.72)

  • Mithqal finished 1st in the 100 Free (55.73) and 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke (1:09.21)

  • Weary got 1st in the 50 Free (26.26) and 2nd in the 200 Free (2:16.95)

  • Van Beek placed 1st in the 500 Free (5:52.87) and 2nd in the 50 free (26.42)

The Boys team finished 3rd.

  • Graham Dugas (1:06.25) finished 1st in the 100 Breaststroke 3rd in the 50 Free (24.35)

  • Val Dowd was 1st in the 100 Fly (59.82)

  • Trevor Tharp placed 3rd in the 100 Free (53.46) and 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke (1:10.05)

  • Justin Lilly (1:19.06) got 2nd in the 100 Back



Saturday

The Indoor Track team had their third meet of the season at Heritage High School

  • Daniel Vizcaino (3:01.79) got 1st in the boys 1000 with Creighton Doherty (2nd) and Tristan Walker (4th) just seconds behind

  • Ryan Davidson won the 1000 with a PR of 3:10.59

  • Selorm Kartey got 3rd in the High Jump (5-04.00) and 3rd in the Long Jump with an impressive 19 feet 2 inches jump

  • Raelyn Trent (48.06) finished 3rd out of 35 in the 300

  • Lauren Anderson qualified for states in the Pole Vault, vaulting 8 feet

  • Owen Sexton (5:19.74) got 3rd out of 16 in the 1600

  • Michael LaPrade (1:21.92) and Emery Kurtz (1:22.09) got 4th and 5th in the 500

  • Katherine Ham (3:45.63) placed 3rd out of 17 in the 1000


The Freshman boys basketball team lost a close game against Charlottesville, 52-47
